GTA 6 Interactive Map: What Exists Right Now

Straight answer: there is no official GTA 6 interactive map, and there can’t be one before the game arrives on November 19, 2026. What you can find today are fan reconstructions — and what we’re building for launch day. Here’s the state of play.

Not available

Official interactive map

Rockstar publishes no explorable maps pre-release — and never has.

Browsable, speculative

Fan reconstructions

Community projects stitched from trailer frames. Useful, but partly wrong by nature.

Today

Fan reconstructions: useful, unofficial, unfinished

Since the first trailer dropped in December 2023, community cartographers have been assembling Leonida piece by piece — pinning trailer frames and official screenshots to a guessed coastline, then revising the whole thing every time Rockstar publishes new footage. The second trailer in May 2025 triggered a full redraw of most of these projects.

Treat them as fan art with coordinates. They’re genuinely impressive detective work, but the method guarantees errors: camera perspective hides distance, unseen interior land gets invented, and whole stretches of the state simply haven’t appeared on screen yet. Any fan map is speculative by nature and partly wrong by construction.

One thing we keep off this site entirely: maps built from leaked development material. Our region guides and everything else here draw only on officially released footage and mainstream reporting.

At launch

The interactive Leonida map we’re shipping

The GTA 6 Locations companion app launches with a full interactive map of Leonida — all six regions, points of interest, and browse-by-region navigation — built from the released game, not from guesswork. No email signup, no waitlist; it lands on both stores when the game does.

The best pre-release substitute: region guides

Until there’s a real map to click around, the officially confirmed geography is the reliable layer — and we’ve written it up region by region:

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

01 Is there an official GTA 6 interactive map?

No. Rockstar has never released an explorable map for an unreleased game, and GTA 6 doesn’t launch until November 19, 2026. Every browsable Leonida map you can find today is fan-made.

02 Are the fan-made GTA 6 maps accurate?

Partially at best. They’re stitched together from trailer frames and official screenshots, so coastlines, distances, and landmark positions involve heavy guesswork. Expect the real map to differ in plenty of places.

03 When will a real interactive map be available?

Once the game ships on November 19, 2026 and Leonida can be charted properly. Our companion app launches its interactive Leonida map alongside the game.

04 Does this site use leaked map data?

No. We work only from officially released material and mainstream reporting. Leak-derived maps, coordinates, and screenshots are off the table here.
