An official Grand Theft Auto VI image places the Wonder Whale beside the Keys Causeway on Key Lento. The roadside attraction takes the form of a whale sculpture painted in pastel colours, projecting outward above the roadway. A shop building stands immediately behind the statue in the image.

The screenshot identifies the attraction with the Leonida Keys area of Mariana County, Leonida. It establishes the Wonder Whale as a tourist-oriented landmark in Grand Theft Auto VI rather than merely a background object mentioned without an on-screen appearance. No trailer timestamp, gameplay use, price, manufacturer, variant, or mission connection has been shown.

The Wonder Whale draws its main visual joke from Betsy the Lobster, the large lobster statue in Islamorada, Florida. Betsy stands on Plantation Key; the GTA VI counterpart replaces that lobster with a whale while retaining the idea of an oversized roadside animal attraction on a Keys island.

Its adjoining shop has a separate real-world basis.
