Haitian-American Cultural Center

Performing arts venue VC · Vice City

The Haitian-American Cultural Center is a community cultural venue due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI, located in the La Perle neighborhood of Vice City. It was first referenced in the second trailer via a flyer pinned to a bulletin board in a Vice City apartment lobby. The wiki suggests it may be a rendition of the Little Haiti Cultural Complex in Miami's Little Haiti neighborhood.

Trailer Flyer Placement

At 1:43 in Grand Theft Auto VI’s second trailer, the center’s name appears on a flyer attached to a noticeboard inside an apartment-complex lobby in Vice City. The flyer identifies La Perle as its location.

No exterior, interior, activities, services, prices, classes, or gameplay role for the Haitian-American Cultural Center have been shown.

Miami Cultural Inspiration

The venue is presented as serving Vice City’s Haitian-American community. Its apparent real-world counterpart is Miami’s Little Haiti Cultural Complex, in the city’s Little Haiti area.

The Miami complex includes the Caribbean Marketplace. La Perle Caribbean Market in the game is likely derived from that marketplace, linking the two La Perle locations through the same suggested Miami inspiration.
