Unnamed GTA VI The Pit Bar-B-Q-inspired restaurant
Restaurant VC · Vice City
A rustic barbecue restaurant near Vice-Dale County is due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI, flashing past the windows of a Tulip in the first trailer as Lucia and Jason flee a robbery; a distinctive chimney and a U.S. flag on a pole mark it out. It takes its inspiration from The Pit Bar-B-Q, a barbecue spot on the western outskirts of Miami.
First-trailer roadside glimpse
At 1:02 in the first Grand Theft Auto VI trailer, the restaurant is visible beyond the front glass of a Tulip. Lucia is riding as a passenger while she and Jason are escaping after a robbery. The shot places the building near Vice-Dale County in the Vice City region of Leonida.
The restaurant’s exterior is identified by its tall chimney and a pole flying the American flag. The trailer provides only a brief exterior view during the passing vehicle shot.
Miami barbecue inspiration
Its real-world model is The Pit Bar-B-Q, a barbecue restaurant on Miami’s outer western side. The in-game restaurant draws its barbecue-restaurant concept from that location, while the chimney and flagpole are the visible features shown in the trailer footage.
No in-game name is given for the GTA VI restaurant in the available appearance.
Series appearance record
The restaurant is identified as an upcoming GTA VI location. No earlier Grand Theft Auto appearance, prior version, menu, prices, vehicle connection beyond the trailer’s Tulip shot, or gameplay use is described.
