A parking garage in Vice City's Stockyard neighborhood is due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI, its southern facade visible from a street in the first trailer. It is modeled on the City View Garage in Miami's Design District, a building Rockstar art director Miriam Bellard revealed at GDC 2021 had also informed the Diamond Casino & Resort in GTA Online.
Trailer Viewpoint and Timing
The first Grand Theft Auto VI trailer shows the garage at 0:27. The view looks toward its south-facing exterior from a north–south road in Stockyard, within Vice City. Only that exterior side is identified; no interior, parking operations, vehicles, prices, or gameplay function are described.
Design Reference Connection
Its design reference is Miami, Florida’s City View Garage in the Design District. Rockstar Games’ Miriam Bellard, Art Director for Visual Development, discussed that building during a 2021 GDC presentation as an influence on The Diamond Casino & Resort in Grand Theft Auto Online. No earlier Grand Theft Auto appearance, vehicle class, manufacturer, variant, modification, or technical quirk is identified for the Vice City garage.
