Vice City Metro Mule
Public transportation network VC · Vice City
Vice City Metro Mule is the public transit network of Vice City, Leonida, first name-dropped on a vehicle livery in GTA Online's Arena War update and due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI. Its logo, a mule in a conductor's uniform, and its actual trains subsequently surfaced in the September 2022 leaks, and the system presumably links key points across the city.
Leaked Vice City Station
September 2022 leaked Grand Theft Auto VI material showed Metro Mule trains parked at a station. Trains for Vice City International Airport were parked there as well, making this the clearest described GTA VI setting for the network: a station shared with airport-associated rail vehicles.
The footage establishes the presence of Metro Mule rolling stock in Vice City, but it does not provide a station name, route map, fare, vehicle manufacturer, service class, variant, modification, or gameplay use. It also does not identify a trailer timestamp or official promotional image for the system. The airport trains shown in the same location are not described as Metro Mule vehicles.
Miami-Dade Metromover Influence
Metro Mule appears to draw on Miami-Dade Metromover specifically, rather than on a broadly defined Miami transit system. The connection extends beyond the premise of an urban people-moving network: the symbol on the mule’s stomach resembles the Metromover logo.
Its name also uses a separate wordplay reference. A drug mule is a person who carries contraband across a border on behalf of a smuggling organization. No comparable GTA transit network, earlier in-game version, prices, service tiers, or technical specifications are identified.
