Starlet Motel
Motel complex PG · Port Gellhorn
The Starlet Motel is a motel complex due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI, associated with the Port Gellhorn area of Leonida. The September 2022 leaks showed a room interior occupied by Lucia and Jason, likely serving as a safehouse, along with the parking lot, front office, and a poolside world-event test featuring Jason and Wyman. The room interior later appeared officially in the game's first trailer.
Second-Trailer and Promotional Appearances
Rockstar’s second Grand Theft Auto VI trailer shows the Starlet Motel twice, at 1:54 and 2:25. The complex also appears in an official screenshot depicting Port Gellhorn and in official promotional artwork. These appearances associate the hotel with Port Gellhorn, a region of Leonida. The trailer identifies its two motel shots by timestamp, while the official image presents it within a Port Gellhorn setting rather than as an unrelated location.
Florida Motel Design References
The Starlet Motel appears to combine elements from several Florida roadside motels. Its closest comparison is the former Economy Inn in Lawtey, Florida, with the Starlet’s front-office design particularly resembling that property. The Economy Inn was demolished in 2021 following a large fire caused by arson.
The Dixie Motel in Hilliard, Florida provides looser visual parallels. The Starlet’s sign, blue-and-red colour scheme, and general arrangement have been described as faintly similar to the Dixie. The Economy Inn is therefore the principal comparison, while the Dixie Motel corresponds only in selected exterior design details.
