Ocean View Hotel

At the 0:33 mark of the first GTA VI trailer, the hotel is visible on Vice Beach’s unnamed Ocean Drive-inspired street. The second trailer concentrates on the bar adjoining the ground floor and the pool area outside it. Further GTA VI depictions are contained in official Vice City imagery, a screenshot focused on Raul Bautista, and official Real Dimez art. Together, these materials place the property visually in the Vice City region and add exterior views from the street, around the pool, and beside the bar.

The real-world model is the Clevelander Hotel in Miami Beach’s South Beach district. Its influence extends beyond the façade: the outdoor bar connected to Ocean View’s ground level recreates an outdoor bar at the Clevelander. The hotel reference and the bar reference are therefore related but separately identified elements of the GTA VI design.

The first Grand Theft Auto reference to Ocean View came through a Funland Miniature Golf obstacle in GTA IV and Chinatown Wars. That miniature did not introduce the hotel as an official mention in either game. Instead, it depicted the 3D Universe version of Ocean View, making it an Easter egg tied to the earlier continuity rather than confirmation of the later hotel.
