Peacock Bay

Neighborhood VC · Vice City Vice-Dale County

Peacock Bay is a neighborhood of Vice City in Vice-Dale County, Leonida, due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI, first named on an Interstate 97 exit sign in the second trailer. It appears to correspond to Miami's Coconut Grove, with the name seemingly borrowed from Coconut Grove's Peacock Park, a bayside green space famous for its roaming peacocks.

Interstate 97 Signage

Peacock Bay’s name appeared on an Interstate 97 exit sign at 0:35 in Grand Theft Auto VI’s second trailer. This is the identified in-game promotional appearance tied to the neighborhood: the sign places its name within Vice City’s road network rather than presenting a separate location card or description.

The trailer reference confirms that Peacock Bay belongs to the Vice City area of Leonida. No earlier Grand Theft Auto appearance, vehicle association, mission connection, property detail, price, or gameplay feature is identified for the neighborhood.

Coconut Grove Inspiration

Peacock Bay appears to draw from Coconut Grove, a neighborhood in Miami, Florida. The comparison is presented as an apparent real-world influence rather than a confirmed one-to-one recreation of Coconut Grove in Grand Theft Auto VI.

Its name also seems to take inspiration from Peacock Park, a waterfront public park in Coconut Grove on Biscayne Bay. Indian peafowl are known to wander there, linking the park’s peacock association with the fictional neighborhood’s name.
