Imponte is an American automotive manufacturer recurring across the HD Universe and expected to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI, known for a catalogue of muscle-era throwback vehicles. The marque is primarily based on the defunct General Motors brand Pontiac, down to an inverted-triangle badge echoing Pontiac's arrowhead, while some models borrow Chevrolet-style crossed-flag emblems. The name doubles as a play on 'impotence'.
