Mammoth
Automotive ST · Statewide
Mammoth is a fictional American manufacturer of oversized SUVs and aircraft that recurs across the Grand Theft Auto series and is expected in Grand Theft Auto VI. The brand parodies Hummer, with its flagship Patriot drawing on the Hummer H2, and its name plays on the sheer bulk of its vehicles. Like several other in-game manufacturers, Mammoth also holds a defense contract supplying military aircraft to the United States government.
GTA VI appearances
No Mammoth vehicle, logo, location, trailer moment, screenshot, or other Grand Theft Auto VI promotional appearance is identified. Its presence in the setting is limited here to Mammoth being an automotive manufacturer.
Brand styling and inspiration
Mammoth’s visual identity follows Hummer’s heavy, squared-off presentation. Both brands use large, block-like lettering, although Mammoth’s text is curved rather than entirely straight. The name refers to the prehistoric animal and reinforces the oversized image associated with the company’s SUVs.
The company’s relationship with the United States military also invites comparison with AM General, the real manufacturer formerly responsible for the HMMWV and Hummer before the Hummer brand passed to General Motors. That comparison is limited: unlike Mammoth, AM General does not build aircraft.
Aircraft in Grand Theft Auto Online
Mammoth’s aircraft line includes the Avenger, Mogul, and Tula, all appearing in Grand Theft Auto Online. Its military-aircraft role places it alongside Western Company, JoBuilt, and Buckingham as manufacturers connected with United States government defense work.
