Principe

Vehicle brand ST · Statewide

Principe is an Italian vehicle manufacturer recurring in the Grand Theft Auto series, modeled on Ducati and the Piaggio family of brands such as Vespa, Moto Guzzi, and Aprilia. Its lineup spans scooters to superbikes, and its Alvino V1 sport bike, inspired by the Ducati Panigale V2, is listed as due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI.

Faggio Manufacturer Change

Following Grand Theft Auto V’s 1.06 update, the Faggio was reassigned from Pegassi to Principe in its manufacturer information. The change did not fully carry into the vehicle’s in-game presentation: entering a Faggio still displays the name “Pegassi Faggio,” including in the enhanced version.

A separate inconsistency concerns the Bagger. A book placed inside certain Los Santos Customs garages identifies that motorcycle as an intended Principe product, although it is not presented as a confirmed Principe model through that detail alone.

Nobility Name Reference

“Principe” translates as “prince” in Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese. The name follows a nobility-title reference: Ducati, the real-world motorcycle maker reflected in the brand, derives from the Italian word for a dukedom. Principe therefore shifts that idea from a duchy to a prince rather than using the same title.
