Rearwall
Outdoor wear ST · Statewide
Rearwall is an outdoor-oriented fashion brand recurring in the HD Universe, previously sold at a Liberty City store and through Sub Urban shops in Grand Theft Auto V, with its logo dotting skate parks in both cities. In Grand Theft Auto VI, logos on a billboard for the We Have Shoes store suggest the retailer stocks Rearwall footwear. The brand parodies The North Face, its name flipping the original.
Willis Store Address
Rearwall’s documented pre-Leonida retail location was on Saratoga Avenue, in the Willis neighborhood of Dukes. This was its only identified Grand Theft Auto IV shop, giving the brand a single named storefront rather than a chain of confirmed Liberty City branches.
The label was also listed on the in-game site peepthatshit.com, placed under its Outdoor shopping category. That classification identifies Rearwall as outdoor wear rather than a general fashion retailer.
Later Retail Distribution
By Grand Theft Auto V, Rearwall was no longer identified through its own named store. Instead, it appeared among the labels carried by Sub Urban. The available information does not name individual Rearwall items, prices, colourways, manufacturers, or clothing variants sold there.
Its branding also appeared at skate parks in both Liberty City and Los Santos. Those logo placements extended the brand’s presence beyond retail locations, but no specific parks or advertisements are identified.
North Face Parody
Rearwall draws on The North Face, the United States outdoor-products company. The outdoor positioning and fashion branding are the elements tied to that real-world inspiration.
The parody name changes “North” to “Rear.” “Rear wall” is also slang for the anus, supplying the joke behind the altered name.
