Resaca Extra
Alcohol brand ST · Statewide
Resaca Extra is a Mexican alcohol brand due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI. An ID-check sticker bearing its name appears on the door of Uncle Jack's Liquor in the first trailer, and the second trailer shows bottles chilling in undercounter coolers at The Rusty Anchor. Its bottle art, a skull in a hat, draws on Mexican Day of the Dead imagery.
Trailer Sightings and Timing
Resaca Extra appears in two Grand Theft Auto VI trailer locations. At 1:16 in the first trailer, Uncle Jack’s Liquor has an age-verification decal on its door carrying the brand name. The marking places Resaca Extra in a retail alcohol setting, although the trailer does not show a purchase, price, or drink type.
The second trailer provides the clearest view of the product itself. Around 1:31, bottles bearing the Resaca Extra label are kept in refrigerated storage beneath the counter at The Rusty Anchor. No trailer material identifies a manufacturer, strength, package size, flavour, or separate product line.
Name and Bottle Artwork
The name uses the Spanish word “resaca,” meaning “hangover.” That meaning connects the fictional brand directly to alcohol without establishing whether its bottles represent beer, spirits, wine, or another category.
Its label features a skull wearing a hat. The design draws from Mexican Day of the Dead visual traditions, matching the brand’s stated Mexican identity. Beyond the skull-and-hat artwork seen on the bottle, no alternative labels, bottle sizes, or variants have been shown.
