Alpha (gas station chain)

Alpha is a gas station chain due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI. A Port Gellhorn branch showed up briefly in the September 2022 leaks opposite the Starlet Motel, and the same station later appeared officially in the background of a second-trailer scene of Jason Duval shoving a man against a parked Emperor. The chain may take cues from real fuel brands such as Marathon, Valero, and RaceTrac.

Port Gellhorn Station Sightings

Alpha’s Port Gellhorn outlet was identified by the chain name displayed on its forecourt canopy. It stood on the opposite side of the road from the Starlet Motel, making the motel the clearest landmark tied to the station’s location.

The earliest sighting came from one brief clip among the September 2022 GTA VI leaks. That appearance established the name on the canopy, but it was not an official release. Rockstar later showed the same Port Gellhorn location in the second GTA VI trailer, at 1:54, with the station behind the action at the Starlet Motel.

In that trailer shot, Jason Duval forces a man against a parked Emperor while Alpha remains across the street in the background. The material identifies Alpha as a gas-station chain, but does not describe fuel grades, prices, store goods, services, vehicle modifications, or gameplay functions.

Florida Chain Comparisons

Alpha has been suggested as a fictional counterpart to several fuel retailers found widely in Florida: Marathon, Valero, and RaceTrac. The comparison is an influence rather than a confirmed one-to-one basis for the chain.

No individual feature is assigned to any one of those brands. Marathon, Valero, and RaceTrac are named together as possible real-world reference points, while Alpha’s confirmed GTA VI evidence is limited to the Port Gellhorn station seen near the Starlet Motel.
