Chepalle
Tire manufacturer PG · Port Gellhorn
Chepalle is an Italian rubber and urethane company introduced to Grand Theft Auto Online with the Lowriders update, where its banners decorate Benny's Original Motor Works, clubhouses, and auto shops and its tire designs appear on many vehicles. The brand is due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI.
GTA VI sightings
In September 2022 leaked footage, Chepalle advertising appeared at an auto repair shop in Vice City’s La Perle neighbourhood. Banners were attached to both its wall and fence; one advertised 15% off when buying at least one tire.
Two Chepalle tire-display racks were also visible outside a Gas Stop location in Port Gellhorn. These are the identified GTA VI appearances; the footage shows retail advertising and tire stock rather than a confirmed purchasable upgrade menu.
Racing products in GTA Online
Before GTA VI, Chepalle supplied branded tire options for Open Wheel, Track and Street categories in Grand Theft Auto Online. The designs used either green or yellow lettering around the sidewalls. Chepalle sunstrips were available for the Vapid Ellie and Flash GT.
Its logo also appeared on race-car liveries, sometimes as a main sponsor and sometimes in a smaller supporting position. Open Wheel vehicles carried Chepalle-marked seatbelts in their cockpits, suggesting that the company’s in-game product range may extend beyond tires to restraints or racing seats. Chepalle caps were sold through clothing stores, and some of El Rubio’s private-security personnel wore them on Cayo Perico.
Pirelli reference and name
Chepalle is modelled on Pirelli, the real Italian tire maker. The visual connection is most apparent in the logo: each name begins with an enlarged first letter stretched across the remaining letters.
The name also draws on “Che palle!”, an Italian expression used to convey frustration or boredom, roughly equivalent to saying that something sucks.
