Bocamar Bridge

The Bocamar Bridge is a bridge in Port Gellhorn, Leonida, due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI. It was first named on a northbound Route 2 sign in the September 2022 leaks and later appeared officially, visible behind a convertible driven by Lucia in the second trailer and in the far distance of an official Ambrosia screenshot. Its name splices together the Spanish words boca and mar, mouth and sea.
Trailer and Screenshot Views
At the 2:29 mark of Grand Theft Auto VI’s second trailer, the Bocamar Bridge appears in the background beyond Lucia’s convertible. It is also visible at long range in an official screenshot of Ambrosia. Earlier, September 2022 leak footage identified the bridge on a northbound Route 2 sign in Port Gellhorn. That sign listed Yorktown alongside the bridge, with a Gas Stop branch nearby.
Sunshine Skyway Inspiration
The Bocamar Bridge is based on Florida’s Sunshine Skyway Bridge, which crosses Lower Tampa Bay near the bay’s entrance. Its name joins the Spanish words boca and mar, conveying “mouth of the sea.” Together, the name and the Sunshine Skyway comparison suggest that the in-game crossing stands near the mouth of a bay, though its precise position in Leonida has not been confirmed.
