La Perle Caribbean Market

Marketplace VC · Vice City Shown officially

The La Perle Caribbean Market is a marketplace due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI, in the La Perle neighborhood of Vice City. It was first referenced in the second trailer on a bulletin-board flyer advertising opening days of Thursday through Sunday. The wiki considers it a likely rendition of the Caribbean Marketplace in Miami's Little Haiti, which kept the same four-day schedule when it opened and belongs to the Little Haiti Cultural Complex.

Flyer in Trailer 2

La Perle Caribbean Market is a marketplace placed in La Perle, Vice City, Vice-Dale County. Trailer 2 does not show the stalls themselves; at 1:43 a lobby bulletin board carries a flyer that lists Thursday-through-Sunday opening days—the same schedule the real Caribbean Marketplace used when it first opened.

Little Haiti marketplace model

The in-game market is read as a take on Miami’s Caribbean Marketplace at 5925 NE 2nd Avenue in Little Haiti, part of the Little Haiti Cultural Complex. That complex is also the likely reference for Vice City’s Haitian-American Cultural Center. Tisha-Wocka flea market is a separate Vice City market entry, not a rename of La Perle.
