Lavazas

Pale lager VC · Vice City

Cerveza Lavazas is a Mexican beer brand due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI, showing up on Uncle Jack's Liquor shelves in the first trailer, on a Vice City billboard with the tagline 'Fun has no borders' in the second, and as opened bottles in Jason Duval's stilt house, plus a can beside Brian Heder in a screenshot. The joke name is Spanish for 'dirty water' or 'dishwater', and its logo and white cases echo a real Mexican beer's packaging.

Trailer and screenshot sightings

Lavazas cases are visible at 1:09 in Grand Theft Auto VI’s first trailer, stocked on shelves inside Uncle Jack’s Liquor. The product is therefore associated with retail alcohol sales in Vice City, the region identified for the brand.

The second trailer gives the beer two further appearances: a Vice City billboard at 1:58 carries the advertising line “Fun has no borders”, and two uncapped bottles sit on a coffee table in Jason Duval’s stilt house at 2:11. An official screenshot also places a Lavazas can beside Brian Heder.

Mexican lager packaging influence

Cerveza Lavazas is identified as a Mexican beer brand and a pale lager business in Grand Theft Auto VI. Its name uses the Spanish word “lavazas,” meaning dirty water or dishwater, making the brand name itself part of the joke.

Its visual design draws most closely from Modelo Especial, the beer made by Grupo Modelo. The resemblance is particularly apparent in Lavazas’s logo and its white cases, rather than in any stated gameplay function, price, manufacturer within Leonida, or named product variant.
