Air Herler
Commercial airliner VC · Vice City
Air Herler is an airline from Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online that is due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI. Its English name and a logo seemingly built from the Union Jack suggest a British carrier despite its aircraft flying under American registrations. In the current games its jets are fixtures of Los Santos International Airport, and a wrecked example lies in the Grand Senora Desert.
Vice City airport sighting
Air Herler was visible in the September 2022 GTA VI leak footage: a stationary aircraft carrying the airline’s established livery stood at Vice City International Airport. The plane was seen from a distance, with no further aircraft, route, service, or gameplay details shown for Leonida.
This is the confirmed GTA VI evidence for the carrier’s presence in the Vice City region. Its livery matched the version used in earlier appearances rather than introducing a newly described design.
British Airways visual influence
The airline’s logo and tail treatment draw on British Airways’ Landor Associates identity, used by the real carrier between 1984 and 1997. In particular, Air Herler echoes that scheme’s tail design and Union Jack-derived visual elements.
Its English-language name and Union Jack-like logo point toward a British identity, although its aircraft use American registrations. The name is likely a joke on “hurling,” referring to vomiting caused by severe airsickness.
Los Santos fleet history
In Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online, Air Herler aircraft commonly appear at Los Santos International Airport. Its fleet is comparable to FlyUS’s, including Shamals, non-player-controllable Twinjets, and player-controllable Jets.
A crashed Air Herler aircraft in the Grand Senora Desert carries a mostly red paint scheme unlike the standard livery, possibly representing an earlier design. During the GTA Online activity Landing Strip, players hijack an Air Herler Shamal said to be transporting rival product.
