Pegassi
Vehicle manufacturer ST · Statewide
Pegassi is the Grand Theft Auto series' Italian exotic-car marque, recurring throughout the HD Universe and expected in Grand Theft Auto VI. It blends inspirations from Lamborghini and Pagani with motorcycles derived from Ducati, and its name and horse-themed badge invoke Pegasus, the winged horse of Greek myth.
Faggio Listing Changes
At update 1.06, the Southern San Andreas Super Autos listing for the Faggio changed from Pegassi to Principe. Before that revision, it was presented there as a Pegassi product. The alteration did not produce matching identification everywhere: entering the vehicle in-game still gives it Pegassi branding. The dealer page and the vehicle’s in-game label therefore disagree over its manufacturer.
The Bikers update in Grand Theft Auto Online added another conflicting record. Both the sales site and in-game text identify the Faggio Mod as made by Pegassi. With the ordinary Faggio assigned to Principe on that site, the base model’s reassignment appears to be a listing mistake.
Grand Theft Auto IV Credits
Pegassi first appeared in Grand Theft Auto IV. Its name is misspelled as “Pegasi” in that game’s audio files, with one “s” omitted. This is separate from the later Faggio website conflict: the GTA IV issue concerns the spelling used in audio files, while the Faggio issue concerns its assigned manufacturer.
Lamborghini’s Ducati Acquisition
In 2012, Lamborghini acquired Ducati, four years after Pegassi was introduced in Grand Theft Auto IV. Lamborghini has remained Ducati’s direct owner since then. The timing is presented as a coincidence rather than an in-game event or vehicle change.
