Waste Transfer Services
Waste collections and disposal AM · Ambrosia
Waste Transfer Services is a garbage collection company originally cut from Grand Theft Auto Online and now due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI, where it looks to be Leonida's dominant hauler, its blue bins scattered statewide alongside a trash incineration plant in Ambrosia. The logo and typography borrow from Republic Services, while the name may nod to Waste Management.
Ambrosia incinerator reference
Waste Transfer Services’ Ambrosia incineration facility appears to draw from the Wheelabrator South Broward plant in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This is the named real-world counterpart for the Leonida site, specifically its trash-burning operation rather than the company’s wider collection network.
The available GTA VI material identifies an Ambrosia facility and the company’s statewide blue refuse bins, but gives no trailer timestamps, screenshot captions, promotional dates, equipment details, capacity figures, prices, vehicle types, staff uniforms, missions, or gameplay functions. The company’s operation of the incinerator is presented as an apparent in-game role, not as a detailed confirmed activity list.
Branding and earlier removal
Its visual identity takes cues from Republic Services, a North American waste-disposal business: the comparison applies to both the logo and its lettering style. The Waste Transfer Services name may instead be a reference to Waste Management, making the two real-world comparisons serve different parts of the fictional company’s presentation.
Before its GTA VI appearance, the company had been intended for Grand Theft Auto Online. A Waste Transfer Services logo appeared on a trash-collector outfit that was added with The Diamond Casino Heist update but went unused. That earlier material establishes the company as cut Online content; GTA VI is where it is described as due to appear as a sanitation business handling collection and disposal.
