Southside
Neighborhood VC · Vice City Vice-Dale County Shown officially
Southside is a neighborhood of Vice City in Vice-Dale County, Leonida, due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI, first named on an Interstate 97 exit sign in the second trailer alongside Peacock Bay, which it appears to adjoin. Its name and position suggest inspiration from Miami districts south of the Miami River such as Brickell, an area historically nicknamed "Southside."
Named on Interstate 97
Southside is a Vice City neighborhood in Vice-Dale County. Trailer 2 names it on an Interstate 97 exit sign at 0:35, and the signage reads as adjacent to Peacock Bay and Salton inside the city’s southern limits.
August 2026 leak clips later show Jason driving through the district on a police Sovereign 107 and in a Thrax, which is the first motion footage tied to the neighborhood after the exit-sign mention.
Southern Miami-Dade read
The name and placement read as a broad take on southern Miami-Dade—Cutler Bay and West Perrine among them. West Perrine itself appeared as a world-event string in the September 2022 debug menus. Nearby Gallivanter and Vapid dealerships, Gator Plaza, and a PTT Youngin$ illegal-goods store are listed as points of interest inside the neighborhood on fan indexes; Rockstar has not published an official POI sheet for Southside.
