The Amalfi

The Amalfi is a Mediterranean restaurant due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI, occupying the ground floor of the Bayfront Heights resort in Ocean Beach, Vice Beach, Vice-Dale County; its sign is visible in the first trailer's closing title-card shot. Named for the Italian coastal commune of Amalfi, it is based on Byblos Miami, a Mediterranean restaurant in the real city.
Miami Beach Restaurant Parallel
The real-world comparison is Byblos Miami, a Mediterranean restaurant in Miami Beach that operates from the lower level of the resort used as the model for Bayfront Heights. The relationship therefore links both the restaurant and its resort setting to the Miami Beach counterpart.
Amalfi and Byblos are both named after Mediterranean coastal places. That shared naming is part of the parallel between the GTA VI venue and Byblos Miami.
Amalfi Name in Earlier GTA
The restaurant itself has no earlier Grand Theft Auto appearance stated. Its name draws on Amalfi in Campania, Italy. Amalfi had previously been referenced through a vintage Lampadati Casco poster in Grand Theft Auto Online, rather than as an operating restaurant location.
