Gainz is a weightlifting equipment manufacturer introduced in Grand Theft Auto Online's Arena War update and due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI. In the second trailer, Gainz weight plates can be seen as Jason Duval lifts at an outdoor gym in Vice Beach. The name riffs on 'gains', the bodybuilding slang term.

At 0:38 in Grand Theft Auto VI’s second trailer, Jason Duval trains at an outdoor gym in Vice Beach, Vice City, using Gainz-branded plates. The footage identifies three plate colours and weights: green 10 kg plates, black 15 kg plates, and blue 20 kg plates.
This is the material shown for Gainz in GTA VI: branded free weights in use during Jason’s workout. No other Gainz product, equipment variant, price, modification, or gameplay function has been shown in the available trailer footage.
Arena War sponsorship history
Before its GTA VI appearance, Gainz entered Grand Theft Auto Online with the Arena War update. Its earlier role was as a small sponsor name on vehicle liveries rather than as visible gym equipment.
One documented example is the Ammu-Nation livery for the Deveste Eight, which carries Gainz branding. GTA VI changes the brand’s presentation from a livery sponsor to physical weightlifting equipment seen in Vice Beach.
