Airgator Airboats

Airgator Airboats is a fanboat maker due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI, first glimpsed in an official screenshot showing one of its hunting-and-fishing airboats being used to hunt alligators in the Leonida Grassrivers. The craft carries a shield-shaped alligator logo on its rear fins, and the brand appears to be a close take on real-world manufacturer Diamondback Airboats, whose fonts and shield emblem it mirrors.

Grassrivers Hunting Craft

Airgator’s GTA VI debut is tied to a Rockstar promotional screenshot set in the Leonida Grassrivers. The image shows an Airgator-branded fanboat during an alligator hunt, placing the manufacturer’s vehicle in the region’s hunting-and-fishing setting rather than identifying it through a trailer appearance or a named mission.

The visible boat bears Airgator identification on the rear fin assembly. Its emblem is a shield containing an alligator, making the logo readable even from the craft’s stern. No price, vehicle class, alternative model, modification option, or handling information has been shown.

Diamondback Airboats Influence

Airgator draws closely from Diamondback Airboats, a real fanboat manufacturer. The connection is clearest in the styling of the name and badge: both use similar lettering and a shield-shaped logo treatment.

The animal imagery also follows Diamondback’s design approach. Diamondback uses a Western diamondback rattlesnake in its emblem, while Airgator substitutes an alligator. Airgator is confirmed as a vehicle manufacturer for GTA VI; no appearance in an earlier Grand Theft Auto game is identified.
