Flow Water is a flavored, vitamin-enhanced bottled water brand from Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online that is due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI. In the earlier games it advertises on radio, wraps a Downtown Vinewood bank building with its four flavors, and sponsors a fitness obstacle course in Paleto Bay.
Vice Beach Trailer Appearance
At 0:38 in Grand Theft Auto VI’s second trailer, a bottle marked Flow Water Zero rests on the ground beside Jason while he performs a barbell bench press at an open-air gym on Vice Beach, Vice City. This is the specifically shown GTA VI appearance of the drink. Its container uses a redesigned bottle compared with Flow Water’s earlier game appearances.
Vitaminwater Brand Influence
Earlier depictions describe Flow Water as flavored, vitamin-fortified water that is not alkaline, with four core flavor options. The brand parodies Vitaminwater: its multi-flavor, vitamin-focused presentation resembles that product’s branding. The Flow Water Zero bottle shown in the GTA VI trailer particularly resembles Vitaminwater Zero Sugar’s Squeezed Lemonade flavor. A real company named Flow Water also sells water in several vitamin-enhanced flavors, but it was founded in 2015, two years after Grand Theft Auto V released.
Online Sponsorship Items
In Grand Theft Auto Online, Flow Water served as a main sponsor on liveries for the Alpha-Z1, Ultralight, and Zorrusso. Players could also buy a Flow Water air-racing suit from clothing stores that were accessible in the game.
