Sahara
Delivery service VC · Vice City
Sahara is a delivery and e-commerce company due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI, first glimpsed via a tape-sealed box from its apparent premium "Sahara Mirage" service in an official screenshot of a recording studio with Real Dimez member Bae-Luxe. The company also holds naming rights to the Sahara Arena, home of the Vice City Narcos basketball team. It appears to be a direct analogue of Amazon.
Amazon Parody Elements
Sahara is modelled on Amazon, the real-world e-commerce and logistics conglomerate. The comparison rests on the company’s delivery business, its logo, and its desert-based name: Sahara refers to the North African desert in the same way Amazon takes its name from South America’s Amazon rainforest.
Its apparent Sahara Mirage tier mirrors Amazon Prime. The Mirage name appears on Sahara-branded packaging and indicates a paid premium-service parody rather than a separate company. No price, delivery speed, subscription terms, vehicle fleet, or other operating details have been shown.
Earlier Online Plans
Before its confirmed GTA VI appearance, Sahara was apparently planned for Grand Theft Auto Online’s A Safehouse in the Hills update. A Career Progress path called “Sahara Surveillance” suggests the company would have been tied to an intended mission sequence.
That material was seemingly cut. The proposed Sahara-focused strand was compared with the KnoWay mission strand, “KnoWay Out,” from the same update; KnoWay appears to have taken the role Sahara had been intended to fill. This Online plan does not confirm any corresponding missions or gameplay use for Sahara in GTA VI.
