HOBO-marked dumpsters were visible in the background of many clips from the September 2022 GTA VI leaks. This is the only GTA VI-specific depiction described: the material places branded refuse containers in leaked footage, but gives no Leonida region, named street, trailer timestamp, or official promotional image. It also does not identify a GTA VI depot, staff, collection route, vehicle, price, waste category, or gameplay activity.

In GTA Online, an unused sanitation-worker outfit made for The Diamond Casino Heist update carried HOBO decals. The same decals and the company’s street-dumping slogan appeared on the HVY Biff. This led to the inference that Biffs bearing those markings belonged to HOBO; it was an implication from the unused asset and truck markings, not an expressly stated operating arrangement. These details supplement the firm’s broader San Andreas presence in GTA V and Online.

HOBO is most likely patterned after Waste Management, Inc. The stated basis is the resemblance between the two companies’ yellow-and-green logos, rather than a named real-world truck maker or disposal system. The acronym is also a joke about hobos, people commonly depicted as living in or around dumpsters.
