Unnamed GTA VI Fontainebleau Miami Beach-inspired hotel
Resort complex VC · Vice City
A large resort complex in Washington Beach, Vice Beach, Vice-Dale County, is due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI; the first trailer shows the rooftop pool deck of one of its towers looking out over the Ocean Beach and Vice City skylines. The property appears to be based on the Fontainebleau Miami Beach in the Mid-Beach section of Miami Beach, Florida.
First Trailer Rooftop
At 0:37 in the first Grand Theft Auto VI trailer, a rooftop terrace is visible on one of the hotel complex’s towers. The shot includes a pool deck, with views toward Ocean Beach and the Vice City skyline.
The footage places this terrace within Washington Beach, a neighborhood of Vice Beach in Vice-Dale County. No other areas of the resort or its facilities have been shown.
Fontainebleau Inspiration
The complex draws from the Fontainebleau Miami Beach, the real Miami Beach resort in the city’s Mid-Beach area. Its tower-top terrace appears to have been recreated from the corresponding terrace at the real property.
The trailer’s rooftop pool setting is the clearest identified element taken from the Fontainebleau Miami Beach complex.
