Bite! is a fast-food chain in the HD Universe specializing in sandwiches, wraps, and salads, typically trading from small storefronts tucked into larger commercial buildings in Liberty City, Alderney, and Los Santos. The chain is expected to appear again in Grand Theft Auto VI.
Cipher Mall appearance
Bite! was seen at Cipher Mall in the September 2022 Grand Theft Auto VI leaks, placing the sandwich-and-salad chain in Vice City. The signage used the revised Bite branding previously displayed on the Racer 23 livery for the Dinka Sugoi in Grand Theft Auto Online.
The GTA VI material confirms the brand’s presence and its location at Cipher Mall, but does not provide menu items, prices, or further branch details.
Earlier game locations
In Grand Theft Auto IV, Bite! operated from four sites in Alderney and one in Liberty City: two in Leftwood, on Sacramento Avenue and at Leftwood Theater; two in Westdyke, on Beaverhead and Cariboo avenues; and one at the Northern Gardens Community Office in Bohan. Its premises were generally compact units within larger commercial properties.
Grand Theft Auto V and Online retained that small-unit approach while spreading the chain much more widely across Los Santos. The Diamond Casino Heist introduced a changed logo: the exclamation mark and “it’s big” slogan were removed, while the capital B gained a bitten treatment and the lettering changed. GTA San Andreas – The Definitive Edition also used Bite! in place of the in-universe SubStandard, although that appearance is non-canon.
Subway parody elements
Bite! parodies Subway, the American fast-food sandwich franchise. Its numerous small premises in commercial spaces reflect Subway’s real-world operating model. The name also carries a French slang meaning for penis, which pairs with the chain’s former “It’s big” motto.
