The Rusty Anchor

The Rusty Anchor is a waterfront bar due to appear in Grand Theft Auto VI, sitting near the northwestern coast of Key Lento with its own pier for small fishing and pleasure boats plus outdoor picnic seating. It was first hinted at on music flyers inside the Jack of Hearts strip club in the September 2022 leaks, and later featured prominently in the second trailer and in official screenshots of Jason Duval, Cal Hampton, and Brian Heder.
Trailer Interior and Branding
The second GTA VI trailer shows The Rusty Anchor at 1:19 and 1:29. Its bartenders wear branded shirts bearing artwork of the venue’s sign and building, while Cal Hampton wears similar clothing in the trailer. The design highlights the wooden windmill mounted on the roof.
The bar’s accessible interior has alcohol advertisements from earlier periods, posters, stickers and licence plates representing Leonida and Gloriana. A television fixed to the wall is operational. Gig posters identify Gutless Wonders and The Hummers & The Strummers as acts associated with the venue, indicating that it also hosts live music.
Florida Bar Inspirations
Its interior arrangement, general styling and property-side boat dock draw from an unnamed real Key Largo, Florida establishment. The exterior’s look and colours may instead take cues from No Name Pub in Big Pine Key, Florida.
The rooftop windmill refers to the original 1938 design of the Caribbean Club, whose hotel section included a windmill. That windmill and hotel were destroyed by arson in 1955.
