Sea Turtles

Sea turtles are a marine reptile species that previously appeared in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and San Andreas, where they could be spotted underwater around locations such as Ocean Bay and Easter Basin in San Fierro, and they are set to appear again in Grand Theft Auto VI, this time within the waters of Leonida. Like most background marine life in those earlier games, sea turtles could not be directly interacted with and would simply swim away if the player got too close, though in Vice City they, like dolphins and sharks, could still be killed with thrown grenades. Their return marks another instance of a long-dormant 3D Universe species being carried forward into the HD Universe setting.
