Letter Scraps were one of GTA 5’s cleverest collectibles: 50 torn pieces of paper scattered across Los Santos and Blaine County that, once collected, assembled into a stranger’s written murder confession — a whole side-story told through litter.
It is exactly the kind of narrative collectible Rockstar likes to bury in a map, and a strong candidate to return in some form for Leonida.
How it worked in past GTA games
GTA 5 shipped 50 Letter Scraps whose reward was narrative rather than mechanical — piecing them together unlocked an optional questline and a payout. It fit a long Rockstar habit of hiding readable, story-bearing collectibles in the world, from newspaper clippings to graffiti confessions, rewarding players who actually stop and look.

It is unconfirmed. Letter Scraps were a GTA 5 collectible, and Rockstar has announced nothing about GTA 6’s collectibles. A narrative pickup set in that spirit is plausible given series history, but treat it as expectation, not fact.
