GTA 6 Hidden Packages
TYPE 01 / 8 Series precedent
The original GTA collectible — scattered glowing pickups tucked across the whole map.
Hidden Packages are the collectible that started it all. In GTA III, Vice City, and San Andreas they were 100 glowing pickups tucked into alleys, rooftops, storm drains, and underwater spots — and finding them in tens quietly unlocked weapons and cash back at your safehouse.
Whether GTA 6 calls them Hidden Packages or reskins the idea again, a hunt for scattered pickups across the entire map has appeared in every 3D-era Grand Theft Auto. It is the most likely collectible of all to return in Leonida.
How it worked in past GTA games
The Hidden Package formula has never really left the series — it has only changed costume. GTA III and Vice City hid 100 packages each; San Andreas kept the count; GTA 4 reworked it into 200 seagulls players nicknamed “Flying Rats”; and GTA 5 split the concept into a family of themed hunts. The reward loop stayed identical: collect a set number, unlock gear or money, and slowly memorise the map in the process.
What to expect in GTA 6
Reasonable expectations based on series history — not confirmed GTA 6 facts.
- A single citywide or statewide pickup set — Vice City’s dense blocks are the obvious home for it, the way older games clustered them in the main city.
- Rewards that scale as you collect: weapons, cash, or cosmetic unlocks delivered in tiers rather than all at once.
- Underwater, rooftop, and interior placements that double as a tour of hard-to-reach corners of the map.
- An exact count and an official checklist that only Rockstar can confirm — we will map every one on launch.

Does GTA 6 have Hidden Packages?
Rockstar has not confirmed any collectible set for GTA 6 yet. But Hidden Packages (or a reskinned version of them) have appeared in every 3D-era GTA since GTA III, so a scattered-pickup hunt is one of the safest expectations for Leonida. Treat specifics as unconfirmed until launch.
How many Hidden Packages will GTA 6 have?
Unknown. Past games used 100 (GTA III, Vice City, San Andreas) or 200 (GTA 4’s seagulls). We will not guess a GTA 6 number — the real count and full map will come from the game itself on November 19, 2026.
Where are the GTA 6 Hidden Packages?
No exact locations exist yet, because the game is not out. When GTA 6 launches we will plot every confirmed pickup on our interactive map. For now this page is a what-to-expect guide based on series history.
